Rewards and points
How points add up and how to use a reward.
- How you earn points — A participating salon adds points after an eligible visit is completed. The salon chooses how its program works and which services count.
- Use a reward on a booking — Choose an unlocked salon reward and apply it before you confirm. The booking summary shows exactly what it changes.
- Your reward after a cancellation — A reward held for a booking returns to your rewards when that appointment is cancelled. The salon's money policy still applies separately.
- Receive offers from a salon — Choose to receive a salon's offers when you review a booking. Your choice is recorded after the booking succeeds, and the salon decides whether and when to send an offer.
- Active, used and expired offers — An offer's status tells you whether it is still available. Active offers show an expiry date when they have one; used and expired offers stay visible but are dimmed.
- Why one booking takes one reward — A booking accepts one reward ticket. Selecting another reward replaces your current choice, and the booking total updates so you can compare before confirming.
- A reward held for an unfinished booking — After you submit a booking with a reward, the ticket is reserved for that booking while confirmation or payment is unfinished. It shows as Reserved and cannot be used on another booking at the same time.
- Points after a cancelled or missed visit — Points are awarded only when an eligible visit is completed. A cancelled or missed visit does not earn visit or spending points, and its money is handled separately under the salon's policy.
- Stop or restart a salon's offers — You can stop marketing offers from one salon without affecting your bookings or the rest of Gloa. That salon then appears under Stopped offers, where you can subscribe again.
