Choose appearance, language and motion
Use the Preferences section of your profile to choose English or French, light or dark appearance, and reduced visual effects.

In short
- Language switches Gloa between English and French.
- Appearance can stay light, stay dark or follow your device.
- Low power mode reduces visual effects. On desktop web, Background motion has its own on-or-off choice.

Change a preference
- Open your profile and find Preferences.
- Choose EN or FR beside Language. The app changes language as soon as you choose it.
- Choose Light, Dark or Auto beside Appearance.
- Turn on Low power mode if you want fewer animations, transparency and glow effects.
