Request deletion, understand what happens right away, and know what remains from past appointments.

In short
- Closing your account freezes it immediately, signs you out and cancels upcoming appointments.
- You can restore the account before erasure, but cancelled appointments do not return.
- After erasure, some past records remain as described below.
Closing your account starts a thirty-day deletion period. Your account is frozen immediately, you are signed out everywhere, and every upcoming appointment is cancelled so the salon can offer the time to someone else.
Path: Profile › Delete your account
- Open your profile and choose to delete your account.
- Read the consequences, enter your password and type the confirmation word shown on the screen. Giving a reason is optional.
- Confirm the request. Gloa emails you the scheduled erasure date and signs you out after you close the confirmation.

During the deletion period
Signing in again lets you restore the account before erasure. Appointments cancelled when deletion began do not come back, because the salons were already told and may have filled those times.
After erasure
- Your profile, sign-in credentials, messages, message media, notifications and favourites are erased. Your email address can be used for a new account.
- Accounting records for paid past appointments remain without your name because tax law requires them to be kept. Your reviews remain but are detached from your identity.
- A salon that actually served you keeps its own client record, including your name and contact details. It is marked as a deleted account and the salon cannot contact you through Gloa. The salon answers for that record and for requests you make about it.
- If a salon held a record for you but never served you, the contact details in that record are erased too.
