Quebec law gives you rights over your personal information and a way to exercise them.

Quebec law gives you rights over personal information Gloa holds about you.
You can request access, correction, eligible erasure, portability, de-indexing or an explanation.
A salon answers for the information in its own client records.

Access: obtain a copy of the personal information Gloa holds about you and learn where it came from.
Rectification: have inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information corrected.
Withdrawal and erasure: stop a use that rests on consent, and have information destroyed or anonymized when the law's conditions are met.
Portability: receive computerized information you provided in a structured, commonly used format, or have it sent to another organization.
De-indexing and explanation: ask for eligible links or publication to stop, and understand a decision made about you only by automated means.

Write to privacy@gloa.ca and say which right you want to exercise. Give enough information to identify your account and request.
Gloa answers within thirty days. The request is free, except that the law allows a reasonable transcription or reproduction fee when you are told about it first.
If a request is refused, Gloa explains why and how to ask the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec for a review. You may also contact the Commission directly.
