When Gloa will not let you move an appointment
Why Move can be unavailable, why a chosen time can be refused, and what to do next.

In short
- Move is unavailable after the appointment starts or reaches a final status.
- The salon can turn off self-service moves, set a limit, and apply its cancellation deadline to changes.
- A destination is refused if it is no longer bookable for the service and specialist.
The salon decides whether you may move your own booking and how many self-service moves it allows. The deadline frozen onto your booking also closes self-service changes when the appointment gets too close.
| Salon setting | Self-service can be off |
|---|---|
| Booking limit | Move disappears when the limit is used |
| Timing | The booking deadline applies |
| Final appointments | Cancelled, completed, or missed bookings cannot move |
When Move is there but a time fails
Gloa checks the chosen time again when you confirm. It refuses a time in the past, a time outside availability, a blocked period, or a slot that another booking has taken.
| “There is no Move option on my appointment.” | The salon's setting, its move limit, the booking deadline, or the appointment status prevents a self-service change. Contact the salon to ask what they can do. |
|---|---|
| “The app says that time was just taken.” | Choose another available slot. Your current appointment stays at its original time until a move succeeds. |
| “My specialist is no longer available.” | The self-service move keeps the specialist already attached to the booking. Contact the salon to arrange another option. |
