Services and prices

Build your menu, set durations, and keep it organised.

  1. Build your service menu — Add a clear name, category, duration and price for every service clients can book.
  2. Set duration, categories and order — Keep the menu easy to scan while protecting enough calendar time for the work.
  3. Choose who can perform each service — In a salon, connect each service to the right people so clients only see workable combinations.
  4. Add options to a service — Let clients choose an optional extra while booking. Each option can adjust the service price, duration or both.
  5. Hide a service without deleting it — Turn a service off to remove it from the choices clients can book while keeping its setup in your service list.
  6. Set a deposit for one service — Override your salon-wide deposit rule for one service with no deposit, a percentage or a fixed amount.
  7. Why a deposit is raised — When you choose to take a deposit, Gloa applies the minimum shown on the payment or service screen. The preview shows the amount the client will pay.
  8. Choose when clients pay — Without card payment setup, bookings stay pay in person. Once card payments are active, choose no deposit, a deposit or full payment for online bookings.
  9. Add cleanup time after a service — Add a buffer to block your calendar after a service for cleanup or preparation. Clients see the service duration, not the buffer.
  10. Offer a service at your client's place — Say where each service happens, choose how far you travel, and let clients book a house call themselves.
  11. Assign your team to services — For a salon with staff, choose everyone or select the people who can perform each service. Solo services already belong to the professional's own calendar.
