Unsend text, photos or voice messages

Remove your recent message for both sides and understand why Gloa may refuse the request.

In short

  • You can unsend only your own message while the option is still available.
  • Its text, photo or recording is removed for you and the salon, and a deleted-message placeholder remains.
  • The request is refused when the allowed time has passed or the message is no longer available.

Unsending changes the conversation for both sides. It removes the message contents, any reaction on it and the quoted content shown in replies to it.

  1. Press and hold the recent message you sent. On a computer, right-click the message instead.
  2. Choose Unsend and read the confirmation.
  3. Confirm to remove the message for both sides.
You are told the message can no longer be unsentThe message is outside the allowed window or changed while the request was being completed. It can no longer be removed with Unsend.
Holding a salon message shows reactions insteadChoose one of your own recent messages. You cannot unsend a message written by the salon.
