Report and block a conversation

Reporting is Gloa's blocking action: it closes new messages in both directions.

In short

  • There is no separate block-only control: reporting the conversation also blocks it.
  • After you confirm, neither you nor the salon can send, react or reply in that conversation.
  • The conversation remains visible with a notice that messaging is closed, and you cannot unblock it yourself.

Use Report conversation when you need contact in that thread to stop. Gloa receives information from the conversation with the report so the report can be examined.

Before you reportAfter you report
  • Both sides can send messages.
  • Live messages can be replied to or reacted to.
  • New messages are closed both ways.
  • Message actions are unavailable.
  1. Open the conversation and choose the flag control in its header.
  2. Read the Report and block warning. Confirm only if you want messaging closed for both you and the salon.
  3. Confirm the report and check for the closed-conversation notice.
The writing area is goneLook for the notice that messaging is closed. A reported conversation no longer accepts messages from either side.
The report did not sendCheck your connection and try the flag control again. The conversation closes only after the report succeeds.
