Who can check a client in

A regular team-member account cannot record a client's arrival.

In short

Ask the salon owner or a manager to check the client in.
The same access rule applies to scanning a booking code and entering its short code.

Read your day — Read the appointments your account can see and find what needs your attention.
Check a client in — Record that the client has arrived using their booking code.
When a client is late or absent — Give a late client the salon's grace period, then record an absence only when the action becomes available.
Handle a change to your book — Check what changed, then involve the salon when an appointment must move or change hands.
