In short
- Keep the appointment open during the salon's grace period.
- After that period, confirm the client has not arrived before marking the appointment absent.
- If your role cannot mark an absence, tell the salon.
| At the start time | Keep the appointment open while the salon's grace period runs. |
|---|---|
| During the grace period | Ask the person running the floor about shortening or moving the service. |
| After the grace period | Confirm the client was not checked in, then mark the appointment absent if your role allows it. |
The client is late
Keep the appointment open during the salon's grace period. If you need a decision about shortening or moving the service, ask the person running the floor.
The client does not arrive
- Open the appointment after its start time. Gloa keeps the absent action unavailable until the salon's grace period has passed.
- Make sure the client has not arrived and was not checked in by someone else.
- Mark the appointment absent and confirm. If that action is not available to your role, tell the salon so it can close the appointment.
| The absent action is not there yet | Wait until the salon's grace period has ended. The action becomes available on its own. |
|---|---|
| The appointment is not assigned to me | Ask the salon owner or a manager to close it. |
| The client was already marked present | Do not mark the appointment absent. If the arrival record is wrong, ask a manager to review it. |
