In short
- A proposal does not move the booking or change its amount when you send it.
- The client chooses whether to accept or decline.
- The original time remains if the client declines.
| When you send | The client receives the proposed time and the original booking stays put. |
|---|---|
| If the client accepts | The booking moves to the proposed time. |
| If the client declines | The original appointment remains. |
- Open the confirmed booking in Bookings and choose Postpone.
- Choose the proposed date, time and duration. The proposed time is not held while the client considers the request.
- Add an optional note for the client, then send the request.
| Postpone is not available | Check that the booking is confirmed, belongs to a client with an account and has no proposal awaiting a response. |
|---|---|
| The booking did not move after I sent the request | The original time stays until the client accepts. |
| The client cannot accept the new time | Check whether the booking is still active and whether another booking has taken the proposed time. |
