Appointment reminders and missing phone numbers
Gloa's appointment reminders are sent by email, so a missing client phone number does not stop them.

In short
- Gloa sends appointment confirmations and reminders to the booking's email address.
- A missing client phone number does not block an email reminder.
- A reminder is not sent after the appointment starts, and a booking made after a reminder window opens does not receive that reminder.
The reminder uses the email address on your account. For a guest booking, it uses the email saved in the salon's client record. Gloa does not use the client's phone number to deliver these reminders.
| Delivery | |
|---|---|
| Account booking | Account email address |
| Guest booking | Email given for the salon's client record |
| Client phone missing | Email reminders can still be sent |
What a reminder contains
- The salon and service
- The appointment date and time
- The salon's address when the salon has entered one
- The salon's phone number when the salon has entered one
- Your arrival code
| “I did not receive a reminder.” | Check the inbox and junk folder for the email address used on the booking. Use the original confirmation to verify the appointment instead of waiting for a reminder. |
|---|---|
| “There is no phone number in the reminder.” | The salon has not supplied a phone number for that email. The rest of the appointment details remain valid. |
