When a time is taken during payment

Availability is checked again before payment starts. If another booking wins the time first, you are asked to choose another slot and no charge begins for the refused booking.

In short

  • Choosing a time does not reserve it.
  • Gloa checks the calendar again when you confirm.
  • A booking that passes that check holds the time while its payment or card step is open.
  • A booking refused because the time was taken does not start a charge.

Two people can see the same free time before either confirms. The first booking that passes the final calendar check occupies it. The other person receives an unavailable-time message before their payment step begins.
