Book an appointment at your place

Some professionals come to you. Here is how to book one, and what happens to the address you give.

Some services are performed where you are rather than at a salon. The page and the results say so, and where the professional has told Gloa how far she travels, you will find her even when her own address is nowhere near you.

Booking one

1. Find the professional and choose the service marked as happening at your place.
2. Pick your time as usual. Before the last step, Gloa asks where to come: the street, the apartment or buzzer if there is one, the city, the province and the postal code.
3. Add anything that helps her arrive: a door at the back, a dog, where to park. It reaches her with the appointment.
4. Confirm. The address is kept on that appointment, and you can save it to book faster next time.

What the trip costs

A professional who travels may charge for the trip. Where she does, it appears as its own line in the summary before you confirm, next to everything else you are agreeing to pay. It is charged once for the appointment, whatever the number of services in it, and an appointment at her own address never carries it.

That amount is hers, not Gloa's. She decides whether to charge it and how much, it reaches her with the rest of what you pay for the service, and it comes back the same way if the appointment is refunded. Some professionals stop charging it once you book enough work, and when that applies the summary shows no line for the trip at all. If you see no such line, there is nothing to pay for it.

Who sees your address

Only the professional you booked, and only on that appointment. It is not shown to other salons, it does not become part of your public profile, and it is not added to anyone's client list as a home address. Gloa erases it around six months after the appointment has passed, and deleting your account erases it at once, together with any address you chose to save.

Two places, two appointments

Something she only does in her chair and something she only does at yours cannot be booked as one appointment, because nobody could keep it. Gloa says so while you are still choosing, and you book them one after the other instead.
