Understand your booking status
Pending, confirmed, checked in, completed, cancelled and no-show each describe a different point in the appointment.

In short
- Pending means the request is on the books, but the app has not moved it to Confirmed.
- Confirmed means the appointment is booked.
- Checked in records your arrival without replacing the booking status.
- Completed, cancelled and no-show are final outcomes for the visit.
A status does not by itself tell you how much was paid. Your booking details show the payment status, deposit and remaining balance separately when those amounts apply.
| Pending | Your request exists and appears under Awaiting confirmation. A pay-at-salon booking made from the salon's own link can remain in this state. |

| Confirmed | The appointment is booked and appears with your upcoming visits. |
| Checked in | The salon has recorded your arrival. The appointment can still remain Confirmed while the service is underway. |
| Completed | The salon has marked the visit finished. |
When the visit does not go ahead
| Cancelled | The appointment is off the books and will not be completed. |

| No-show | The salon recorded that the client did not attend. |
| My appointment still says Pending | Check the Awaiting confirmation section and your confirmation email. Payment and booking status are tracked separately. |

| My finished visit still says Confirmed | The salon still needs to record the final outcome. The status changes when the salon marks it completed. |
