In short
- Only the owner can edit another person's role and permissions from their member record.
- Booking, service, promotion, team, business, and finance access are separate choices.
- Finance access is always off for a team member.

| Team member finance access | Always off |
Choose access by responsibility
- Calendar choices control whether the person sees only their own appointments or every appointment, and whether they can change all bookings.
- Other choices cover services, promotions, the team, and business details such as the profile, opening hours, and address.
- Finance access lets a manager see salon revenue, payouts, and money reports. It cannot be given to a team member.
- Open the person's record from the Team & Staff directory and choose Permissions.
- Choose manager or team member, then switch on only the access needed for the person's work. Changing the role to team member switches finance access off.
- Save the permissions and review them again whenever the person's responsibilities change.
| I cannot edit the permissions | Sign in as the owner. An owner cannot change their own fixed access from another member's permission editor. |
|---|---|
| Finance access turns off | Check the role. Finance access is unavailable while the person is a team member. |
