| Booked money | Calendar value |
|---|---|
| Earned money | Appointments that took place |
| Collected money | Money moved through Gloa |
| Outstanding | Earned, not yet collected |
Booked money is the value attached to appointments on the calendar. Earned money comes from appointments that took place: the ones you marked completed, and the ones you checked in that were not later cancelled or marked as an absence. Collected money is what actually moved through Gloa. Outstanding is the part you earned that has not been collected yet. These figures answer different questions, so they should not be expected to match, and the Sales page shows earned, collected and outstanding side by side so you can see where the difference is.
Why the figures separate
- A future appointment is booked but not yet earned.
- A deposit can be collected before the rest of the service is earned.
- A completed service paid in cash can be earned without appearing in money collected through Gloa.
- A cancellation, no-show, refund, fee, or payout changes one view without necessarily changing all the others.
- Outstanding counts only appointments Gloa is collecting for. One your client settled at your desk owes nobody anything, so it is left out rather than shown as money you are still waiting for.
- Refunds are not subtracted from collected money. The two figures sit next to each other so you can see the size of both.
- Why is a past appointment missing from earned money?
- Check whether it still needs review. Until you mark it done or as a no-show, Gloa does not guess the outcome.
