In short

  • Choose a period before comparing dashboard figures.
  • Earned revenue counts appointments marked completed.
  • Give past appointments a final status so your figures can update.

Your dashboard is a snapshot of the period you select. Change the period before comparing figures, because a total and its trend only make sense when they cover the same dates.

What the main figures mean

  • Appointments counts bookings in the selected period and separates them by status.
  • Earned revenue counts work marked completed, rather than every future appointment on the calendar.
  • A trip charge for a house call is counted with the service it was collected for, so earned revenue matches what the client paid you.
  • Clients shows new and returning activity for the same period.
  • Trends compare the selected period with the matching previous period.

Clear items that need review

A past appointment with no final status cannot be counted honestly as completed or missed. Open the needs-review list and mark each one done or as a no-show; your figures update from that decision.
