In short
- A break or other block has a start and an end.
- It stops new appointments from using that period.
- Only someone with permission to manage the calendar can add, edit, or remove a block.
| Break | Time away |
|---|
- Blocks an exact part of your day.
- Useful for a meal, meeting, or setup.
| - Can cover a longer period.
- Still appears as blocked time on the calendar.
|
| New appointments | Cannot use the block |
|---|
| Existing appointments | Stay in place |
|---|
| Calendar changes | Permission required |
|---|
- Decide the exact start and end you need.
- Ask the person who manages the calendar to add the right block. If the salon gave you calendar permission, you can use the Block time flow yourself.
- Check your day after the block is saved.
| I cannot add or change a block. | Your account does not have calendar permission. Ask the person who manages the calendar to make the change. |

| The block conflicts with the schedule. | Check for an appointment or another block in the same period, then ask the calendar manager what should move. |
