Clock in and clock out

Use the Time clock in Team & Staff when the salon has enabled it. If location is required, allow access and be at the salon.

In short

  • The salon decides whether the Time clock is enabled and whether location is required.
  • Clock in when your shift begins and clock out when it ends.
  • You can review your current status and recent completed shifts in the same place.
  • If the salon requires location, you can still clock in from a client's place when that appointment is on the salon's calendar for your day.

Before you clock in

  • The salon has enabled the Time clock
  • Location access is allowed if the salon requires it
  • You have clocked out at any other salon where you work
  1. Open Team & Staff and choose Time clock.
  2. Choose Clock in and allow location access if asked. When location is required, you must be near the salon, unless the salon's calendar has a house call for your day.
  3. Return to the same screen at the end of your shift and choose Clock out.
Before clocking inThe screen says you are not clocked in.
During your shiftThe screen shows that a shift is in progress and when it began.
After clocking outThe completed shift appears with your recent shifts.
The Time clock says the salon has not enabled it.You cannot enable it as a team member. Ask the salon owner or an authorized manager.
Location is required.Allow location access in your device settings, then be at the salon and try again. If you are working at a client's place, the punch goes through when that appointment is on the salon's calendar for your day.
Gloa says I am already clocked in somewhere else.Open that salon's Time clock and clock out there before starting this shift.
