In short

  • You must be allowed to manage the team at both locations.
  • The member's title moves; permissions and pay rate do not.
  • Their upcoming appointments at the old location stay booked, return to that location's calendar and must be reassigned.
  • Work already completed stays on the old location's record.

  1. Switch to the location where the person works now.
  2. Open Team and find the person in the active team list.
  3. Choose Move location beside their name.
  4. Choose the destination and confirm the move. Read the note before confirming: permissions and pay rate will need attention at the new location.
  5. Switch to the destination and set the member's permissions and pay rate.
  6. Return to the old location's calendar and reassign any appointments that came back.

If the destination is not offered

“There is no other location to choose.”The destination must belong to the same business, be open, and be a location whose team you can manage.
“This person cannot be moved.”Confirm that they are active at the current location, are not an owner, and are not already active or suspended at the destination.
