THE DAY

The calendar

Set a duration and price for each service. Clients see the same current availability that your team manages.

Every service, its own length
Set a separate duration for a root touch-up, balayage, or cut.
One column per stylist
View the full team schedule or one stylist’s calendar.
Time that is not for clients
Block time for a delivery, holiday, one stylist, or the entire salon.
Walk-ins and the phone
Add walk-ins and telephone bookings at the desk to keep the calendar current.
No duplicate bookings
Once a time is reserved, another client cannot confirm it.
Closed days remain unavailable
Weekly days off and holidays are removed from available booking times.

THE PLATFORM

What Gloa handles

Gloa connects appointment emails, payment terms, client notes, sales, and reporting. Communications use the client’s selected language.

Reminders before every visit
A confirmation when she books, then a reminder the day before and again a few hours ahead, by email.
Payment terms by service
Require a deposit for a full colour and no advance payment for a trim. The terms shown at booking remain attached to the appointment.
Formulas in the client record
Team-only notes appear with the client’s visit history.
Late cancellations and no-shows
Keep or waive the fee shown when the client booked. No fee is kept unless it was disclosed before confirmation.
Tips assigned to the stylist
Counter sales record the tip with the professional who earned it.
Sales reports
Revenue by stylist, by service and by period, taken from the appointments themselves.

YOUR BUSINESS

What stays yours

Your client book
Import your existing list. Matching contact details identify existing clients. Later bulk imports may require review before exemption from introduction fees is confirmed.
Your terms
The cancellation policy shown at booking remains attached to that appointment, even if you change the policy later.
Your payouts
Card payments go to your account on your payout schedule. Gloa does not hold your funds.

ANSWERS

Common questions

Can I ask for a deposit on colour and nothing on a cut?
Yes. Deposit, full payment or a card kept on file is chosen service by service, and the client sees which one applies before she confirms.
Do my formulas and notes stay private?
They are written by your team and read by your team. A client never sees a private note on her file.
Can each stylist have her own calendar?
Each professional has a calendar column, working name, and client conversations. Roles control access to schedules, clients, and financial information.
What if I rent a chair to someone?
A guest artist or chair renter can work at your salon for a set period without payroll access or access to your financial records.
