Finding a salon

Search, narrow the results, read a page, and keep the places you like.

  1. Search for a salon, professional, or treatment — Search by a salon or independent professional's name, a city, or a treatment category, then open a result to learn more.
  2. Search near you and manage location permission — Location access lets Gloa centre the map on you, show your distance from a result, and rank nearby places. You can still browse the map without sharing your position.
  3. Read a salon or professional result — Each result identifies a salon or an independent professional and can show photos, treatment categories, rating, location, distance, and a starting price when that information is available.
  4. Narrow your search results with filters — Use filters to limit results by price, verification, whether you want a salon or an independent professional, and the other criteria currently shown in Search.
  5. Change the order of search results — Sort results by Best match, Nearest, Top rated, or Lowest price. Sorting changes the order only; it does not remove a result.
  6. When a search finds nothing — Try another keyword, clear or widen your filters, and check the area shown on the map. If salons could not load, check your connection and try again.
  7. Read a salon's page — A salon page can show services, opening hours, photos, reviews, location, and other details. The salon chooses how its page is arranged and which optional sections appear.
  8. When a salon is closed or has no services — Closed describes the salon's saved hours for the current time; it does not by itself remove the salon's page. If no services have been added, the Services section says that added services will appear there.
  9. Save a place you like — Use the bookmark on a marketplace salon page to add it to Favorites. You need to sign in, and saving a place does not book or charge anything.
  10. Go back to your saved places — Your saved salons are listed under Favorites in your profile. Search that list by name, category, or city, and sort it by recently saved or alphabetical order.
