Control how you appear in search
Choose the photo, the line and the services on your search card, and decide what clients can filter you by.

- Leaving a question blank never hides you. It only means Gloa does not answer it on your behalf.
A client searching near her sees a card for each salon before she opens anything. You decide what is on yours, and you decide which of her filters you answer. Everything here is optional, and none of it changes your page itself.

Your card
- Write one line about yourself. It sits under your name in the results, so make it the thing you would say if you had a single sentence.
- Choose a search photo. Without one, your cover photo is used, so you only need this if you want the card to show something different from your page.
- Pick up to three services to lead with. Choose none and Gloa picks from what you offer.
- Decide whether to show your starting price. When it is on, clients see the lowest price on your menu.
What clients filter by
Parking, wi-fi, step-free access, evening hours and the rest are the amenities on your page. A client filtering for one of them is shown the salons that ticked it, so tick only what is true today. The editor tells you how many you have chosen and when you have reached the limit.
There is one filter that is not an amenity: who your space is for. Answer it only if it describes your salon. Left blank, you appear for everyone and Gloa never tells a client you declared anything.
- Does answering fewer questions push me down the results?
- No. Filters decide who you are shown to, not what order you appear in. A blank answer only keeps you out of searches for that one thing.
- I ticked an amenity and it did not seem to save.
- Reopen the amenities in your page editor and check the counter. If you were at the limit, the remaining choices are dimmed and a new one is not added until you remove another.
- Will my starting price be the price she pays?
- It is the lowest price on your menu, shown so she can judge whether to open your page. What she pays depends on the service she books and is shown to her before she confirms.
