Change your name, address or phone

Update the business profile when the public name or contact details change.

In short

  • The business profile holds the public name, street address, city and business phone number.
  • Choose an address suggestion when possible so the map pin matches the new location.
  • A business name is required before the changes can be saved.

These details feed the client-facing business page. Review all of them together after a move or a change of business name.

  1. Open the business profile and replace the business name if needed.
  2. Start typing the new address and choose the matching suggestion. Choosing a result sets the location used for the map pin and can fill the city.
  3. Check the city and enter the business phone number.
  4. Save the business profile.
The map pin still points to the old placeOpen the business profile again and choose the new address from the suggestions instead of leaving only hand-typed text.
The profile will not saveMake sure the business name is not empty, then try saving again.
