Why a booked client cannot be deleted

Understand when Delete is available and why Archive is the right choice for a client with appointments.

  • Delete is offered only for contacts that are not linked to a Gloa account.
  • A contact with any appointment cannot be deleted.
  • Archive the client instead to keep their appointment record while removing them from active views.

An online booking belongs to the client's service history. Deleting the client would separate that appointment from the client record, so Gloa keeps deletion unavailable and gives you Archive instead.

  1. Open the client from Clients.
  2. Choose Archive. The client leaves active views, but the record and appointments remain.
